Since Chile incorporated fungi in environmental legislation in 2012, institutions, organizations and companies in over 20 countries have adopted language created to protect fungi on an equal footing as plants and animals. In this lecture, Giuliana Furci of the Fungi Foundation will show us the genesis of the movement, progress to date and challenges faced ahead in alliances built over time.
